Netball Uganda has introduced night matches to attract more crowds during the Super League matchdays.

“We know that some of the spectators enjoy games after work and it was an opportunity to give those that work all day a chance to unwind with netball,”

Netball Uganda vice president technical Richard Muhumuza states.

Netball is transitioning to a period of professionalism and putting games on TV is one way of ensuring fans get closer to the action which had never been exploited before.
The broadcast partnership with Vision group through its TV Platform Bukedde II and the Vision Digital Experience (VIDE) app has also helped promote the game and bring it to the comfort of everyone’s living room.

“At the moment our games are being broadcast live on TV. We wanted to spread the game to ensure that fans can enjoy the games at their convenience,” he explained.
